Working group on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Main objectives:
The main objective of ForUMs Working group on corporate social responsibility is to support and promote functional global agreements for corporate social responsibility and capital management. The working group will also continuously assess the potential for national frameworks and guidelines. Agreements signed by corporations must aim to protect the environment, secure labour and human rights and contribute to sustainable development. Furthermore they should be easy to implement, and lead to transparency at all levels, including investment, production and reporting. Transparency is a condition for ensuring corporate accountability.
