Due to the ongoing and unprecedented air traffic problems in Europe caused by the volcanic eruption in Iceland, the Oslo Conference on Armed Violence: Achieving the Millennium Development Goals is cancelled and will not take place as planned.
In its place, the Norwegian Government and UNDP will organise an event on the 12th of May in Geneva to facilitate an opportunity to present and endorse the Oslo Commitments. The Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs will chair the meeting. A separate invitation will be sent out to Missions in Geneva, and more information will be posted shortly on www.ocav.org
